6/16/2014 Market Wrap

News:
Pendrell (PCO) announced they have agreed to their 2nd patent license
agreement under their memory technology subsidiary.
Filings:
COPY filed their 10Q.
STRP filed their 10Q.
Trading Commentary:
IP investments continued their rally Monday up nearly 2%, while the broad
markets closed relatively flat.  I see the next major catalyst for the sector as
SCOTUS's ruling on software patents, which should be out by the end of the
month.
FNJN closed up 21% on 3X average volume. I have not found the source of the
move yet.
IDCC closed up 2.5% on above average volume regaining some of Friday's
losses after a negative ITC preliminary ruling.
PRKR closed up 7% after a down open on the back of a negative seekingalpha
article that was published in regards to the newly filed IPRs. Volume surged
in the late afternoon with a price spike.  There was also heavy call volume in
the October $10 strike.
RMBS rallied another 5%+ on above average volume and closed right near a
52 week high.  Shares have been strong after the company announced a
patent agreement with Qualcomm.
